The city I live in

A photography series started in the first year of living in the city of Tabriz in northwest Iran. The history, and architecture of the city was the main reason to start this photography project. The project tried to focus on the architectural sense of belonging and details that aren’t noticed by a usual daily walk. Therefore, it was decided to take the photos in the early mornings when there were no people around to read the city from a different perspective. The mixture of analog and digital cameras for this project helped to portray the city as it is perceived throughout time by different generations. The locations that were chosen are in the areas near the Grand Bazaar of Tabriz which is an architectural and historical heritage and a true character that describe the city of Tabriz.
